Its cold, windy and raining. Plus a Bank Holiday is coming. What a perfect day to launch my new book which is set in an English seaside town!!

Tuesday, 21 May 2013

My wife has just finished reading the 'proof' copy of 'The Theatre of Limited Facilities' and now she can't stop crying. It's going to be something else that I'm bound to get blamed for.

A writer's lot is not always a happy one!

The Holt Scribe will soon be scribbling no more - long live the Sheringham Scribe!
I'm going back to where it all began - to where I was born and to the place where my family have lived for centuries.
I can always feel their love and warmth (as well as that of my friends) as I write AND when I'm in Sheringham they won't have to travel so far!

Saturday, 20 April 2013

Morning World.
I've just realised that there's a hectic two months ahead of me.
Back to bed then - when I wake up it'll then be less than two months. Result!

Friday, 19 April 2013

Just five weeks to go to the launch of 'The Theatre of Limited Facilities'.

Don't worry Hetty fans - I'm cracking on with editing the first BOOK. It should be finished by the Autumn just as long as I don't get diverted by new ideas.
(I will!)

Saturday, 16 March 2013

As a prelude to the publication of 'The Theatre of Limited Facilities' Hetty and I will be touring all the places made famous by the book. We will start at the end, in London, and end it at the beginning, on Beeston Bump - where it all began!

HettyHummer was designed and built to travel to the ends of the earth - and then to let her rider test his/her limits when they got there. She is the most versatile vehicle on the planet, letting you connect with the outdoors in ways that you never dreamed possible. She is distinctly unique - just like the person who drives her!

Monday, 26 November 2012

I've just written a play in 3 minutes!! Beat that Mr Shakespeare?

"Hetty - The Inalienable One"  for a cast of 4 actors and a mobility scooter and set in a factory (somewhere), a Park (anywhere) and a Garage (mine)!

Remembering and dreaming
present, past and future
united in a moment!
how did that happen?
